MIXED MEDIA
Mixed media allows me to incorporate other techniques such as printmaking and photography into my textile work, and may also include painting and hand colouring.
At the beginning of the Covid pandemic I participated in my first 100 Day Challenge – to create something every day. While that is not unusual for me to create everyday, my participation in the 100 Day Challenges has been to create a small art work each day, and along the way my love of printmaking re-surfaced. Thinking of ways to incorporate stitching led to my 100 Days of Stamp and Stitch, creating a new little stamp each day with simple stitching.
